Aphelion grew out of a deep passion for cigars and camaraderie. James spent over 12 years running an IT company and while successful, there was a more burning desire. You won’t find a more welcoming and accommodating person than James when you come through the doors of the “A”. Whether he is character for a holiday event or sporting a Steelers jersey before the big game, his number one concern is to make sure that each and every patron/member is welcomed.

When James is away from the lounge, you can find him traveling the globe for relaxation but also building the Aphelion brand and making sure the humidor of the establishment is second to none.

Robert (Bobby) is a native of Maryland from the Largo area. Born with an entrepreneurial spirit, he spent much of his life in the automotive repair and service industry before the most successful endeavor in partnering with James in founding Aphelion. During his time away from the “A”, you can find Bobby spending time with his family, enjoying fine dining, traveling, playing golf, or as you can see from the picture above; exploring the open road.

Aphelion means much more to Bobby than just a space to share his passion for cigars with others but a welcoming environment for patrons to kick back and relax for years to come.
