What is the Aphelion Experience?
From the moment you enter “The A” we are confident that you will the welcoming environment from our helpful and knowledgeable Aphelion Team. The humidor may in fact be a little overwhelming during your first time in the humidor but that is the the result of our very knowledgeable visionaries. Don’t be surprised if you actually find a comfortable spot in the one of our two lounge areas and actually engage in a conversation with our owners.
Why Are We Called Aphelion?
Aphelion is the point in the orbit of a planet or comet where it is farthest from the Sun. The Earth reaches its aphelion when the Northern Hemisphere is experiencing summer. It usually occurs sometime around July 4th. The word aphelion derives from the Greek words, apo meaning away, off, apart and Helios (the Greek god of the sun).
